The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Trailer and Towing Safety has been formed to discuss and raise awareness of towing and trailer safety in the UK. UK Trailer Safety week 5-11 June 2023

The NTTA (National Trailer & Towing Association) Trailer Safety Week campaign is running from 5-11 June 2023.

Calling notice APPG virtual meeting 06/07/20

On behalf of the Chair, Karin Smyth MP, members are invited to the first virtual meeting of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Trailer and Towing Safety on Monday 6th July 2020 between 12.00 and 1.00pm.
The amendment to the rules for APPGs now provides for such meetings to take place via a digital communication platform and it is intended that the meeting will take place via MS Teams platform.

Latest statement from Karin Smyth MP, the Acting Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Trailer and Towing Safety

The next meeting of the APPG for Trailer and Towing Safety takes place in Westminster on Monday 3 February 2020. The inaugural meeting took place in April 2019 ahead of the publication of the government’s Trailer Safety Report in July 2019, with autumn meetings postponed due to changeovers in Parliament and General Election.
